Today’s episode features Dr. Anushi Shah and Dr. Michele Babicky, discussing the hot topic of training paradigms in HPB. Dr. Babicky is a surgical oncologist and assistant professor of surgery at Providence Portland Medical Center. She is the program director of the HPB fellowship at her institution, with a passion for surgical education.
Dr. Babicky is accompanied by her HPB fellow, Dr. Anushi Shah. Dr. Shah comes to us with a unique perspective in HPB training as a just recently graduated HPB fellow (after this episode was recorded) at Providence Portland Medical Center after graduating in 2022 from a transplant fellowship at MGH.
We are very excited for an enthusiastic discussion about training pathways in HPB. Enjoy!
