El Dr. Serenari trabaja actualmente en la Unidad de Cirugía Hepatobiliar y Trasplante del Hospital Sant'Orsola-Malpighi (Bolonia, Italia). Sus intereses de investigación incluyen principalmente el estudio de la insuficiencia hepática. Asistió durante sus estudios de medicina a la Chirugische Klinik en Heidelberg (Alemania). También realizó una beca de investigación en el Hospital Italiano (Buenos Aires, Argentina) sobre el uso de la gammagrafía hepatobiliar en la técnica ALPPS. Conversamos de su formación, los desafíos de la cirugía HPB en Italia y su experiencia en investigación en un centro argentino. Espero disfruten la entrevista tanto como la disfrute yo!
